Fake Love.

by coupon can   Aug 1, 2007

Shallow and unconcerned.
Vulnerable and out of control.
Don't ignore her innocent heart,
Don't explore her dark past.

Too soon. Fake love.
Too young. Immature.
Too sensitive. Broken apart.
Too deep. Unknown.

Nothing was ever right
Something missing,
Something pulling us apart.
You and I both knew,
The timing wasn't right.

Minutes pass by,
Seconds never last.
It was never true.
It was too deep, too soon.
II hope stars guide your path,
The moon will guide mine .

Um.. I just wanted to add to my previous comment 'cause I was in a rush when I wrote it so I didn't say all I wanted to.

I like the topic of fake love because I'm sure most people have experienced it. You described fake love so well in this poem and I loved how it was more about realizes it was fake then it just being focused on the pain that comes after realizes it was fake because most poets focus on heartache instead of fake love being an eyeopener.

So yeah, I think I've written enough =)
Take care and don't stop writing, your very good & I don't know why in your profile it says you suck at writing poems because it is clear that you don't.
