A Delusion

He's sweet
He's kind
Though innocent has no harm in mind
As I look into his deep brown eyes
I feel loneliness that only he can explain why
But the truth I'll never know
Exactly why he is so shut down
He's torn apart
But doesn't demonstrate it
An illusion only close
You can realize the delusion

    A nice poem. So many of us hide the loneliness and pain, as a friend you need to draw it out. Only in acknowledging the pain can we heal
