Knowing Too Much

Sometimes I wish
I could be free,
From all this
Stress and responsibility.

I feel it when
I know too much,
About those subjects
That are too sensitive to touch.

Whoever said that
It's easier to keep people in the dark,
Or that keeping secrets
Was a walk in the park.

That never helped me
Figure out what to do,
But I guess no one knows
What I'm going through.

So I do know
It's better not to know,
But that never
Stops me caring though.
