Even When it Rains

by blackheartslove   Aug 2, 2007

The suns warmth on my face
A gentle breeze blowing my hair
The leaves rustling in the wind
Dandelions flying all around me

Running through the hills
Can you feel their magic
Spinning round and round
The grass soft beneath my feet--
A bright blue sky overhead

Water rushing over the rocks
Singing its sweet song to me
The trees sheltering me
Cool water swirls around my toes

I think of you, wishing you were here
I wish we could talk like we did before
But now my eyes are opened
Everything we had before was just a lie

No more will I cry over you
I'm finally letting you go
Because darkness only reigns when the light retreats
But I'm in my own world now --
Where the sun will always shine, even when it rains
