The hour I first believed
the moment I let you in.
I felt so relieved
lights went strangely dim.
People praising you
as I look around.
I didn't know what to do
but I still made a sound.
I felt your presence
greatly sinking in.
Smelt the horrible essence
as I let go of sin.
I raised my hands
and lifted my head.
Let go of the strands
that sins eventually led.
Thank you, Lord
for all that you've done.
Without you, my life was tore
but now I see the son*
I still praise without
really seeing a face.
I'm no longer in doubt
but have Amazing Grace.
