Tortured Tangled Heart

by blackheartslove   Aug 2, 2007

With a heavy burdened heart she looks up to the sky
The sadness is unbearable and tears fall from her eyes.
No one there to hold her as the darkness closes in
No one there to comfort her as her heart lies in the saddest state its ever been

The evening sky turns dull and gray to match her broken heart
Peace and joy have fled her soul and pain burdens her heart
The night sky has now turned blackest-blue to match her darkened world
Tears fall freely to the ground as she wonders how much pain her heart can hold

How could such a beautiful life end in such despair
For now she's reached her end limits of how much pain her soul can bare
And she sits without a hope or prayer for her tortured, tangled heart
