THE RECONSTRUCTION OF ICARUS

by Grey Ajurahck   Aug 2, 2007

The abnormality of your
conformity is your deformity,
don't be an insubstantial residual outline
better to be the individual pariah
flying high to reach the shine
even though you risk burning your wings
and fall crashing down into destruction
with only a shred of hope of self-resurrection,
for it is far better to at least attempt to
smash through these barriers
of what you have become
and be resurrected as what you dream.
