The Sufferer

by Levi   Aug 2, 2007

Lying here once again,
Crying myself to sleep.
My only hope is that,
He doesn't here me weep.
My arm feels like it's broken,
And my body is black and blue.
You may think you've suffered,
But suffering is all I ever do.
I hate it but I can't escape,
He'd never let me leave.
This is my personal nightmare,
And sometimes I barely breathe.
My old wounds still show,
In scars that will forever remain.
He stands over me and shouts,
And says it's all but just a game.
There's no rules to follow,
Except exactly what he says.
I'll never ever show happiness,
Not even a smile when he goes away.
So lying here once again,
Crying myself to sleep.
My only hope is that,
He doesn't here me weep...
