The Impossible Possibility

I remember when it happened. That faithful night in July. T'was on my sisters birthday. You seemed a little shy. My long time friend, I now love you. All i want to hear is "I love you too". We've had lots of thing happen since then. I remember when you held my hand, then we pulled away. I remember how you came around. You simply made my day. I remember the tears when I found you loved another. I remember the joy, to hear that was over. I remember when we embraced, it wasn't long ago. After our recent falling out, I thought it a miracle. I remember how I held you tight, how i didn't want to let you go. I remember those deep blue eyes, and the shining blonde hair like the sun. I remember seeing into your eyes, into your very soul. You looked at me and smiled. That moment gave me hope. I looked at you and wished I could share a tender kiss with you. The impossible possibility, that would make me complete. I suppose it just wasn't to be, it came to me in a second. "Wait" it said. Now is not the time. "She will be yours yet". And so I didn't fulfill my desire, which may have been for better. Seldom did I have much thought I had a chance, just courage and determination. And so I suppose we will soon be. As you, as us, as me, my one, my dear, my Katie.
