I'll Be Yours And You'll Be Mine Forever [Italian Sonnet]

by A F   Aug 2, 2007

"Babe, I promise I would never leave you."
He told me that as tears fell from my eyes.
I looked at him and asked if that was true;
He said, "I speak the truth. I don't tell lies."
"I always want to spend my whole life through,"
"With someone who doesn't say his goodbyes."
"Babe, I promise I would never leave you."
I told him that as tears fell from my eyes.

"One day," he uttered, "you will be my wife."
I almost cried when I heard what he said;
"I know we can make it through together,
With you, I would want to spend my whole life,"
I said, "without you, I'm better off dead,
I'll be yours and you'll be mine forever."
