Teddy Bear

by luv Shelbz luv   Aug 2, 2007

If my teddy bear could talk
He'd have a lot to say

He'd start of with his name
And ask about your day

He'd ramble on about that
Until he was stumped
He'd change the subject

My teddy bear would mention me
But only briefly
For my teddy bear has a special key
to my heart and keeps it secret

Because he knows me like a book
And would never let a stranger know
What he does because
He knows what I've been through
My ups and downs, my every move

If you were to take him away
I would cry and threaten your stay

He is my best friend forever and always
I hope he will keep me too

He has comforted me in times of need
And laughed at my jokes
Jumped for joy at happy times
And shed tears at bad
Calmed me down when I was mad
And loved me through and through

    I loved the poem..
It was good, and so true.
And if only bears could talk right?
    =]
But the stanza's have different number of lines in each one.. I would have tried to get the same amount in each line.
But its still a very good poem.

To me this wasn't my favorite by you. It just didn't seem upto your usual standards. Although cute I'm not sure many people of an older age would relate to this I know I can't I just didnt feel the emotions. A good effort though. ~mel
