Messages Lost Within the Rain

Does life lift you up off your knees,
does it bring you down, down to the seas?

Are you the one to live without hope?
do you wonder day by day,
on what you will cope?

Does the rain wash away, away with them tears?
You're going to catch a cold,
If you keep holding back those fears.

Are you the kind, to forgive and forget?
Do you remember the events,
and do you fall asleep when the sun is to set?

And in what dream does your lover reside?
Do they love you back,
when there's nowhere to hide?

And so where is a place, this place in your mind?
When times get rough,
Does the rain go and wash it behind?

And everyday can be in pain,
but why do you cover it up,
or do you leave it behind, behind in the rain?
