Santuary

by Cassie Cain   Aug 2, 2007

There was this guy that I knew
He was tall and my mind he blew

We began to make small talk from time to time
Well it was really me talking cause he was shy

I would sing him the lyrics of my favorite song
Hoping the words from tha song made him strong

Then a couple of months passed us both by
The friendship between us got really high

Then one time he showed me a knife
Of course, Ive seen one before in my life

And me I got really excited, I really liked it
So I asked him, if he got a new one, could I have it

And yeah sooner or later he gave it to me
Ever since then I hold that knife close to me

Then more months passed and again we met
It was all perfect the mood, the set

I gave him a ring that I held in my hand
He looked up at me and the ring he drew back

Keep it, I told him, so you'll always be close to me
Keep it to remember these memories we'd bring

We went our seperate ways and a few months passed
The information about me would never really last

I just couldn't handle life anymore
It kept making my eyes way to sore

I remembered he gave me a knife
So I grabbed it and ended my life

Holding all these memories so close to me
Now in eternal sleep, forever more Ill dream

*******this story is part real part fake. i did recieve a knife from my friend, but i didnt kill myself or anything. lol. im still here writing very emotional poems for you all to enjoy and read, please commment. ***********
