The Lovers Have Lied

by TwistedDancingCorpse   Aug 3, 2007

Who has the thread that you hang on?
So freely cut from the only string
That kept you alive.

The moon and the stars
Hold no immortality to me
I'm just as dead
As an old man with no dream.

Who's as red as wine?
Who eats
Where the heartless dine?
No one but me and my souless conscious.
No one but me and his 2-way cross face.

Hello! Have you called again?
The recevier held loosely off the end
Of your lie with me
And the lie with Death.

No candle shines true,
The essence of Death is Beauty.
No sea runs blue,
This is the tainted gurney.

Who held the sound in your throat?
You carried your own shackles.
To the World of your disease.

Blood runs thick with murder.
Your heart is slick
With torture.
Your cult is your disguise.
All you rely on are the flies.

The Lovers Have Lied.

*applauds* Ah, yes...that is some damn good poetry.
Your way with words is absolutely splendid (Yes, I've read a few more of your beautiful poems).
    An absolutely great job.
Ah; and the flow was good.
