Lonely perfection

by elle   Aug 3, 2007

Loneliness can be so daunting
like the way this life can be so empty
i look into your eyes
and all i see is mascara lies

it's not the way it use to be
your not the person i want to be
i look at you and there's nothing there
maybe you'll see your not wanting me

see through the make-up
see through the clothes
what lies beneath is lonely perfection

through on the stiletto's
throughout the happiness
shopping cant fix the lonely nights
shopping wont make it feel alright

there's no happiness money can buy
there's no clothes to complete your life
there's no money to cure lonely perfection

paint on the lipstick
through on the dress
flash your smile to complete the look
make yourself up to watch you fall
never say never
when you have it all.
