My Guardian Angel

You are my guardian angel
Forever watching over me
Connecting within my dreams
Watching over as I sleep
Protecting me from nightmares
Protecting me from darkness.

As you watch over me
From one day to the next
Keeping me safe away
From the evil within this world
And keeping me forever safe
Keeping me from harm.

For this great deed in life
I bestow to you my heart
Along with my soul and mind
I shall always be there for you
Within your times of need
Watching over the one I love,
Forever shall I watch over you
As you have done for me.

    I didn't like how you used the word safe twice in the second stanza but, overall this was a great piece. Great atmosphere, you created here and meaning as well. 5/5

    Aww.. Thats so Adrorable!

    This poem remind's me a little of myself, so I can connect with it in a way. The flow was a little choppy, but it was still a good read.I really enjoyed it.
