One Lie

by luv Shelbz luv   Aug 3, 2007

She was that perfect Barbie body
The blond hair and blue eyes
The slim figure and the right size in all the right places

She had that Ken man
And a lot of pink clothes
She was bound to be the home coming queen

She even lead herself to believe
That she was the perfect girl
With the perfect life and the perfect body

But her whole life was a lie
From her hair to her smile
She was no perfect girl with the perfect life

It started out as one lie
About her rich family
Then it led to everything about her

Somehow her friends found out
And were in such a shock
they abandoned her like something out of style

She had nothing but her family
who were hardly ever around
She was all alone in that whole she dug

*dedicated to all those who lied to be somebody
You don't need to lie just be yourself

    Its very true.
It happens to so many people.
they think they have to lie to keep friends when the reality is.. if you lie you lose friends.

    it was a good poem.
    and made a wonderful poiint.
    keep it up.
