Fall For Nothing

by Jason   Aug 4, 2007

What's going on?
I thought I was stronger then this,
But even the strong fall,
So don't leave my side,
I'm alone in this catastrophe,

Forget everything else,
This battle is my own,
Victory cannot be achieved,
When I'm fighting both sides,
Don't you see what this is doing to me?

Things are never what they're supposed to be,
Hope has become scarce,
Give me a reason to exist,
If I'm going to fall into misery,
Don't let me fall for nothing,

All I'm asking is for you to care,
It's not too much to ask,
Yet you still remain deceiving,
Making me think you don't have the strength to pull that trigger,
When the gun is right in your hand,

On this lonesome dark night,
How are you blind to see,
The wind drifting my ashes to the grave site,
When you're kneeling there shedding tears,
Onto my hedge stone where flowers lay,

Things are never what they're supposed to be,
Hope has become scarce,
Give me a reason to exist,
If I'm going to fall into misery,
Don't let me fall for nothing...

This was really sad. I'm actually close to tears here. You put a lot of emotion and feeling into this and I really enjoyed reading it. It kept me captivated from the beginning to the end. The flow was wonderful also. The only thing I would suggest is that you add a little more to it, so that I can read more. lol. Keep writing.
