Christmas Time

Presents around the tree
scattered on the floor
all of that’s here
but somehow I want more

have a holly jolly Christmas
its the saddest time of year
but 20 days before
is all I wanted to hear

pretending to be happy
for my friends and family's sake
laughing and showing
these smiles that are fake

I only want one thing
but its just to much to ask
I wish to turn back time
and erase part of my past
