She told him she loved him
Then she took it away
She told him she would be there forever
But forever only seemed like a day
He told her they would make it through anything
Why? Because he believed
But she no longer did…
She told him that she couldn’t do it anymore
He didn’t want to hear that, after giving her his heart
She claimed she never loved him
He didn’t believe her
She felt that it was time for their relationship to end
But He wanted to spend the rest of his life with her
She told him there was someone else in her life
He couldn’t believe it, and told her that no matter what he would still love her
She said nothing…
He knew deep in his heart that it was over
He watched as she walked away
She didn’t even look back
Realising that she was his whole life, he got home and got out a bottle of whiskey
He drank until he couldn’t walk
He thought he may aswell drink away his life right there and then
So that’s what he did…he took another bottle splashed it on his wrist and started to cut away.
The blood mixed with the whiskey as he began to smile, he realised that his life was fading away before his eyes.
The tears came down his face, and he dropped to the floor with a puddle of blood beneath him…as he slipped away peacefully and alone.
