When Living Among A Savior

by 19Rusty   Aug 4, 2007

Hold onto what can be held, dream of what should be,
and even after you go I'll keep wishing, keeping
hold onto my feeble minded attempts to work things out.

I have seen our future in two scenes, as children, and as
adults, held your voice in every sentence spoken,
of the inevitable is stunning of what is possible of what
is a new found glory given to you and I that is always
a pleasing experience that they go in order, building up,
in talk and attraction, the I feel about you is at ease,
a genuine revelation of how it should be this way all the
time.

I stare into the darkness and how it can become endless
in seconds, and into the beauty of the woods that every
inch carries a different position of goodness, and than I
realize this is the same way how I look at you, how I think
of your body head to toe, it is an endless view.

I dream every night not just one dream, that shows of destiny
and fate, how the rest of my life is to be lived out, cherishing
things right down to the simplest of detail, and reminding me
of how things have to grow, from respect to friendship, even
about what I achieve with you is still not at its limit.

I hold onto memories even ones I cannot touch,
by words and feelings, to protection of valuables
to never loose their prime quality again.

I anticipate all that is possible, from creating love
to destroying it, but looking at the positive outcomes
is the only place my own body needs to be,
or until I am not needed.
