Shrouded in gloom

by ben thompson   Aug 4, 2007

Shrouded in gloom
Souls sad demise
depression runs rampant
deep sorrowful eyes

Shrouded in gloom
Thoughts running black
Idea of suicide loom
No turning back

Shrouded in gloom
By myself I bleed
Dizziness sets in
Lost in my disease

Shrouded in gloom
young life wasted
Fruit of experience
none ever tasted

    Ben
What a deep powerful piece you have penned. The imagery is very dark and intense.

    Shrouded in gloom
    By myself I bleed
    Dizziness sets in
    Lost in my disease

These lines really cut deep into the soul.
    Excellent job!
    Love Cindy
