Where We Are (All my Life)

by Weeping Wolf   Aug 5, 2007

Its forever I care about, not how
this in front of us is a line, not a wall
When to cross, waiting all my life
But who's to say if this isn't right...

from a blow to the heart
to a bubble to the surface
always hidden, a casual word
amids the broad daylight that was like your smile...

So this is where you finally are
And this is where I've been...all my life...
Somewhere between remembered and eternity.

slow playing sad love song in my mind...
young eyes unsure, a smile so kind
you know me through songs and laughter
I dream you into sunshine and ever-after

So this is where you are.
And this is where I am.
Somewhere between I know you and I need you.

You words... wonderfully put together. Lovely.

    In the 2nd stanza:
"amids the broad daylight that was like your smile..."

    *(amid or) amidst?
