Lonely Girl

by Noelle Wright   Aug 5, 2007

I saw a girl just today.
Not a word did she have to say
I could tell she was lonely and very lost
I would have gave anything to helped her
Paid any kind of cost
She just looked at me and gave a sigh
Hoping I had the answer to why
Her life was such a living hell
I had no advice to give
Cause mine is as well
Her life never has a happy ending
She use to have friends
Before she found out they was all pretending
She had a happy family to
But that's in the past since the divorce is through
She was in love also he looked like a man from a dream
But tragically she learned
Things aren't always what they seem
She has heard of happiness
But never believed
She don't set any goals
she knows they wouldn't be achieved
I wanted to let her know
That I would help her and not let hope go
I wanted to save her from her life
Which was more like a joke
But when I reached her my hand
The mirror broke.
