Outside of being on the outside

I'm always on the out side looking in
And I think you are really my friend
And
You really care
Out of the blue, you have some reason to be mad at me
Its so stupid
But
That acts not the stupidest part
The dumbest part is
I always take you back
I dont always want to
But I do
Thats the stupidest part
With that I was always on the outside
And all I want is on the inside looking out

    This is a great poem, reminds me of a situation I used to be (and partially still am) with a once very close friend of mine...She used to do, and still does, a lot of things to me, and just in general, that hurt and just weren't right...it was a complicated, stressful relationship but I loved her with all my heart...and still do, always will, but it's a relationship I had to get out of. I never will completely though...I still can't help taking her back or coming to her when she needs it...Great write.
