Other side of the wheel

by Seth   Aug 5, 2007

Her heart breaks into millions of shards,
her eyes are full of tears.
She wont forget the mistake that he made,
the pain always seems so near.

Its always the same,
I'm bombarded with shame,
with my black hat and cape.
But what happens when,
its her terrible sin,
and she's the one with the mistake?

It hurts just as much,
I have feelings too.
I need some time,
to figure out what to do.

I'm asking for comfort,
and I don't shed a tear.
I'm not supposed to show,
a trace of anger or fear.
Now that's the other side of the wheel.

The blanket gets pulled,
over everyone's eyes.
Doesnt matter the number
of backstabbing guys.

Its swept under the rug,
no one talks about her fall.
its almost as if,
she hadnt even done it at all.
But it hurts just as much,
in my heart as hers.
It just doesnt explode,
and their arent many words.
