Glorious End

by ben thompson   Aug 5, 2007

Black mold infests my heart, lost to midnights icy waves.
Stealing away my hope and love, trapped in a watery grave.

Painful secrets obscured by time, hidden captives of minds unknown.
Destined for horrid darkness, uncertain future spent alone.

No hero of the day for me, saviors have all run off to hide.
Terrible thoughts cascade across my soul, as I think of suicide.

Slowly the threads unwind, my will breaks ushering insanity in.
I retreat from lives disappointments, and embrace the glorious end.

How dark and sad these lines are.
    Excellent job on this.
