Nearly six months

by MorbidCupcake   Aug 5, 2007

Shes got you fooled more than you realize
Theres a plastic smile on her face
And artifical tears in her eyes

To her, its still just yesterday that you were beside her
And nearly six months and a disaster, now shes done for

You cared when you were here
But you left when you pushed her in
She cried on your shoulder
And for one night, you let her win

Those same reasons she cried then, havent vanished now
At this very moment, shes lying on the ground
Searching for a god, or someone in the sky
That will help her stand it, and answer why
Why you went away at the wrong time
Just when she was better
She closed her eyes and cried
