Merciless Storm

by x Mo x   Aug 6, 2007

The distant roar
Of an approaching storm.
Dark infected clouds
Cause shadows to form.

A clap of thunder
A bolt of light
The storm takes over
Turning the day to night.

Rain like daggers
Cut apart the flames.
A merciless destroyer
Causing damage all the same.

Nothing in its way
The storm presses on
It takes the suns beauty
Until every creation is gone.

THis Poem was incredible. IT was very clear and precise, and it flowed extremely well, I give it three thumbs up, but I need to find a third thumb first. IT was a wonderful piece of work, I could feel the storm coming when I read this.

Wow. wow. wow. And just when I thought I had read your best poem. Lol... it was really really good. I'm guessing you wrote this during a storm, so you really used your creativity and it was so original! I loved the phrase "Rain like daggers"....it was beautiful. The last stanza was really really good too.
