From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart (Terza Rima Sonnet)

by Jenni Marie   Aug 6, 2007

Questioning from bottom of my broken heart
How it's possible for things to end this way
Wishing I'd seen your spitefulness from the start

Always, I did believe that we'd be okay
But now it is like we're on opposite sides
Who would have guessed that you'd break my heart today?

Finally I've found out aboput all your lies
Now discovered that thing that you call a soul
You hid your deciet behind {honest} eyes

Now know there's something wrong, for you can't be whole
And yet I'm still questioning why you did this
Now know you only wanted me to control

It's your smile and whispered 'I love you's' I miss
After you destroyed me, I still want your kiss
