Autumn sunshine

by Rose not your average   Aug 6, 2007

Walking out into the crisp cold air.
You step on some leaves,
Crunch, crunch.
You love the colors,
Red, yellow, gold, some green.
The sun I shining,
It’s the autumn sunshine.
It makes a warm glow on the earth,
Making you warm in the cold breeze.
The sun makes the world glow a bit.
On a morning like this,
It’s like a kiss.
Your cheeks red from the cold,
But you feel so bold,
It’s the autumn sunshine.

Ah such a calm feeling! I love autumn, its my favorite season. This poem also has great imagery. I could almost feel the soft breeze and the leaves. I love it! Keep it up!

"The sun I shining", shouldn't it be "is shining" And the flow is a little off. Besides that I think it's a nice nature poem. Autumn is my favorite season and you described it beautifully. 5/5
