I shall not forget,
the dreadful day,
the date was 28th,
month may year 2003,
the wiard sombre news,
petrified the whole country
we wailed and quailed shivered and shuddered
as the news papers blasted the news.
100 people recuperating,
as 70 perish on road accident,
why all this victims?
why these road massacres?
switch on the television,
switch on the radios,
newspapers headlines,
road accidents who is to blame?
you are to blame
you behind the Steering wheel
you that drinks and drives,
you that should repair the roads
you driving road unworthy vehicles
it is also your fault
you the government man
don't you think it could be,
your son,daughter,spouse,relative or friend?
everyone says he is not to blame,
but what about you my dear friend
have you contributed to these road massacres?
who are you
a player,a victim or a spectator
