Truth (short)

by sara   Aug 6, 2007

The bridge over lying waters
Not all beautiful but always strong
Goes thru heavy winds of gossip
Withstands hurricanes of deceit
Tornadoes of temptation
Overcomes floods of secrets
Only holds rains of honesty
Carries flowers of hope proudly
Kills pest of shame with fish of grace
The bridge was built with love but not blindly
Peace passes thru with no regrets
But hatred can't get through without help
