Fustration and love

by sonia   Aug 7, 2007

She twists, she turns
she cant sleep at night
shes lost, she yearns
for the boy whom she gave light

He vanquished her worries,
leaving her bare
no secrets to hide,
no worries to spare

She loved him so
with feelings so true
he held her hand
self-conscious and blue

He had told her things
he had not told another
words like "your perfect"
and "there would not be any other"

She and him lasted,
until one day had come
cupid had bitten him
and she wasn't the only one

tears rolled down,
as anyones would,
who's trust was betrayed
and love misunderstood

She couldn't bare to see him
with knowledge she now holds
today his affections spread for other girls
like yesterdays common cold

She wished that he had stayed true
like that moment at the park
where he held her in his arms
and kissed her after dark

this is for my friend who had a lot of heartbreak over a guy who practically cheated on her.
