I take bits and pieces of what you say and do.
Put them all together to make someone like you.
Open your eyes so you can see the real me.
You might like her better than what you've actually seen.
Erase all the lies and the things that you've said.
So maybe you can get her out of you head.
Turn down the music and hold her in your arms.
So that she'll know you will do no harm.
Her heart is fragile, she can't take another heartbreak.
All the fighting and screaming gives her a headache.
She's sitting here crying all alone.
And I bet you wouldn't believe she wrote this poem.
