Long ago, we were so close

There was a time when you would always stick up for me

And you let her treat me like crap

She's your wife, I understand
But she's horrible to everyone
She treats you like dirt and her kids even worse

I could blame it on her, but I know now
That this time, it just doesn't matter
No one is forcing you to forget about me
