Where The Sun No Longer Shines

by killingkupid   Aug 7, 2007

I walk towards the concrete world.
Where colds truths wait,
and blood runs red with wars unsaid.
Days of childhood fade to gray,
and the bowels of hell pull me in.
Lost are my days of imagination and wonderment.
Worlds that once danced so bright,
now lose all light.
The times of smiles and dreams
live now in memory.

Scared, i can no longer see the brilliance of the sun shine.
My life in heaven-
replaced by crisp clear pain

Maybe growing up was overrated
