Unrequited

by diary   Aug 7, 2007

Love can be the best thing you could ever experience.
not just sex, sex is like materials you can buy it anywhere.
but love, love can bring you to the ends of the earth for some peanut butter. love can bring a man to his knees, with his heart in his throat, love can break him in one word.

to live knowing of what love is, yet never acquiring it
yourself makes you feel as tantalus as he tries to grasp the fruit just out of reach. you can see it, you can feel it, yet it is not yours. and as you watch other people in love, you question your own value. am i worth loving?

the will in your soul dies.

how can you face the sunshine who shines down revealing your secret to the world. you don't have a lover. you have someone who you love, but they do not love you as you do them.

unrequited is just as lonely as being alone.
unfit. not enough. inadequate.
when just yesterday they were number one. performing at their best. feeling invincible.
and all you can do is raise your head to the sky and ask sweet Mary why you feel this way, and why even after 6 months of pain you still feel this way,
when the person who put you in this condition feels nothing.
