She told me she loved me, but.....

I made a mistake
thinking I could be without her
thinking I could forget
but yet I still missed her

I couldnt blame her
when she chose someone over me
but when time came again for us
she told me we still couldnt be

I told her I loved her
she said she loved me too
but then she said "Im sorry,
I still cant be with you"

as tears came pouring down
sadness fills my heart
I told her I wouldn't give up
yet slowly my life falls apart

knowing the chance is there
all she has to do is take it
I can give her all my heart
I dont care how many times she breaks it

as long as I have her
I'll be contented for sure
I just want her to stay in my life
Ive asked for nothing more

I asked her not to leave
and then begged her to stay
but then this is what she told me
"Its your fault, you already gave me away!"
