What memories of love that are left by the pets whom touch our hearts. Long after they are gone. Such a heartfelt beautiful piece you have penned. It really touched my heart. I have lost 2 beloved pets in the past couple yrs they were 14 & 15 yrs old....we are never ready to let them go. Their memories are always there with us.
    Excellent job!

Haha cute. i like the connection you went for.

here are some things i thought you could fix:
From my slumber my hands reach for your memory--from slumber my hands... you had too many my's
Fully Happy and content -- watch the capitalization.
And I am never alone --simply, period at the end.
The echo of your purring engine fills my dream ,--don't need the space.

and aww. for the last stanza- at first i thought the flow had just all disappeared, but when i read that last line. it was just a cute ending and all.

    -kitty.

im gunna link this poem, so a friend can read it.

thank you very much for your comments on my work. I feel truly touched by your appreciation.

A beautiful development of what it is like to lose an animal. To many, including myself, it is like losing a human. For pets you can tell anything to and they tell no lies. Well done, excellent work. Greta. xo

Very creative piece, greatly written. I like vivid imagery that you created, it is very detailed. Whole poem flows flawlessly and excellently expressed emotions deeply touched me. Truly enjoyable read. Every stanza holds equal amounts of beauty and sadness.

My goodness, I didn't quite realize that there were two ways to read this verse. the love is so evident in the other, the pain so haunting in this one.

    great work, dear friend

This poem rings close to home, I adore my dogs and cat, our pets seem always to give love and seldom ask for much in return, my dogs and cat always seem to know just when a little love is needed. This was a lovely poem that brought a smile to my face.
    Very well written as usual

This is a poem about our cat Tiger who died just over a year ago. We still think of him often. he was almost 21 years old when he passed. They sure do grow on you don't they?
