Hall of memories

by Rose not your average   Aug 7, 2007

I remember being a child.
Being able not to care,
Always able to share.
Playing on the swings.

I remember my friends.
The ones I gained,
The ones I lost.
We always had so much fun.

I remember loosing my first tooth.
How my mom always said,
Put it under your pillow.
Then the tooth fairy would come.

I remember Santa clause.
Every Christmas going to sit on his lap.
Making a list for him,
Hoping I had been good.

I remember the first day at a new school.
It was sixth grade,
I was afraid.
But it was so much fun.

I remember all the sad memories,
I remember all the happy ones
I keep them in one place,
In my hall of memories.
