For my sister

by Rose not your average   Aug 7, 2007

You were with me since I was born.
Even before.
You were always my friend.
Even when we fought.

I just about lost you.
And may have never known you,
And I wouldn’t have had a clue.
I regret all the mean things.

I am sorry for all that I have done,
I wish I could be a better sister.
Maybe you can help me.
Because you always do.

You can make me laugh,
We I am sad.
You can make me happy,
When I am mad.

This is for you.
I don’t know how to thank you.
So I am writing this.
Yes I know its just a poem.

But maybe it says more than you think.
So I am thankful,
Thankful that you are my sister,
And for everything
