She's Gone

by Taylor   Aug 7, 2007

Beautiful and amazing
She was, that girl
She walked around
Like it was her world

She felt perfect and complete
She felt good about herself
She had a great life
Until she met someone else

It was you, a boy
Who she has never noticed before
She liked to hang out with you
As if she wanted more

You treated her like royalty
You claimed her as yours
Her parents were shocked
Because she didn't complain about her chores

And the days went by
And you started to change
You started to act different
And you kept your range

You became perverted and rude
Sour and cold
When you let go of her
She tried to stay bold

You treated her like she was nothing
You left her alone
She was afraid to speak to you
She got chills down to the bone

One day you saw her
How happy she was
She just kept on smiling
As she always does

Then one night
You looked at the sky
You prayed to God
Asking yourself why

Why did you become this
Why did you let her go
When you've gone through all this trouble
Just to let her know

How much you loved her
How much you wanted her as yours
But now she's too afraid
She's closed the doors

It was you who let go of her
And you still cry at dawn
When you see her in the morning
You realize, She's Gone
