The Hunt

by Silver Raven Wolf   Aug 7, 2007

The Stag must run swift,
Swifter than the wind,
because the hunt is on.
He runs threw the forest.
He dares not to rest.
For he knows the end is near
He's trapped, the fight begins.
A wolf lunges for his throat.
The wolf falls short, and is trampled.
The wolf shutters and turns human.
The stag is not quick to forget his small victory.
This is his mistake.
The Alpha lunges to avenge her mates death.
She is Victorious.
The alpha raises her head and begins a song of loss.
Her Son soon joins in the song,as does the rest of the pack.
Soon the song changes to that of a hunt done well.
