There was a time when
Love was the only thing that kept me going
The love from you stood in me and kept me breathing.
I was a happy girl once upon a time,
But maybe that was just a fairytale.
Now this heart of mine is black as the night.
The love you gave to me you took back,
I just don't get that.
How could you have someone believe in you so much,
And then you go and tear them apart.
Now my life is empty and my heart is low,
Cause you walked out on me
And made me feel that I never really meant anything
Anything to you.
I'm tryna pick up the pieces that broke everything inside me
Tryna see this through
But everytime I think of you I just seem to breakdown.
I'm not yet over you, I don't think I ever will be.
For my love was real and it very much still is.
I will always have you in my heart,
And you will always be a part of me
Even though you're not here with me.
I can never have you back in my life,
And I know this.
But can a girl like me believe that our love
Will find "US" in eachothers arms again?.
Maybe someday, somehow
GOD will make you see that I was the one for you
And you are the one for me...
