Leave the world behind

Shes sitting in her empty room,
thinking about what she should do,
shes thinking about how she cant go on
and no one to turn to.

She lost her everything,
and she feels like no longer does she exist,
she wants to end her life,
and wonders if she'll even be missed.

She takes out a sheet of paper,
and writes her last goodbyes,
she slowly creeps in her moms room,
she puts the letter next to where she lays.

She sneaks back into her room,
and slowly shuts the door,
she goes for the pain killers,
and settles on the floor.

She puts the hand full of pills in her mouth,
and slowly starts to swallow,
she feels them go down,
tears start falling down her face from all her sorrow.

She cant wait to be numb,
so she plans to slit her wrists instead,
because no longer can she wait,
for the moment she'll be dead.

She grabs the blade,
and holds it tight,
she puts it against her wrist,
and whispers her last goodnight.

She slit her wrist,
and purposely slit her vein,
she falls to the floor,
and happily doesn't feel the pain.

Her mom awoken from the thump,
races to where her daughter lays,
her mom kneels to the floor screaming,
with tears flowing from her eyes.

She lets the words exit from her lips,
"mommy ill be OK"
she closes her eyes,
and tells her mom the last thing she has to say:

"I love you mommy,
I'm gonna be in a better place"
"you cant leave me honey"
as her moms heart starts to race.

She runs down the stairs,
and calls 911,
and tells the operator,
what her daughter has done.

They rush her to the hospital,
to see if shes still alive,
a while later the doctor came out,
and told her there is no way she can survive.

She goes home feeling dizzy,
so she goes straight to bed,
she found a letter next to her,
and this is what it said:

"I'm sorry mom
but i just had to go"
"i was so depressed
sorry i didn't tell you so"

"I felt dead
since i lost everything that meant so much to me"
"i wasn't good enough
and i couldn't be the daughter you wanted me to be"

"I didn't know how to survive
i didn't have a clue"
"please don't cry to much mommy
just know i love you"

"Mommy ill be watching over you
and you know why"
"just know I'm gonna miss you too
and mommy....goodbye"
