Three Words

by Jenni Marie   Aug 8, 2007

Seems I'm finding it quite amusing
How things can change so much
One day I'm craving, wanting you
While the next, can't stand your touch

Don't you find it amusing
That feelings can change so fast
Once thought I'd die without you
Now that feeling's in the past

Once I longed to hold you
Always see your face
Now can't stand to be near
All you do is bring disgrace

Would have done anything for you
Now just want you to stay away
For if you come near again
Promise to make you pay

Recalling countless 'I love you's'
How those words used to be so true
Only now all that has changed
Those words morphed into 'I hate you.'

This poem is unique. You are very talented! This piece deserves 5/5 but still it isn't your best poem. Rhyming is very original.

Greatly written poem, very true. Every stanza is excellent, but my favorite is:

-Seems I'm finding it quite amusing
How things can change so much
One day I'm craving, wanting you
While the next, can't stand your touch-

I like the flow of the whole piece very much.
    5/5 from me

I can relate to this poem so well, it's funny how love seems to twist in time into something much different then it once was. Excellent job with this piece 5/5 GG23 p.s. second line of stanza 2 is missing a later.
