Somebody Is Home

by brie kelly wise   Aug 9, 2007

Somebody is home
I can't see his face
He looks so familiar
Yet his mind I can't retrace
There's somebody inside
Hiding from me
There's somebody inside
That's killing me
I knocked on the door
And somebody came
Obviously he wasn't home
Because the greeting wasn't the same
I looked inside
And saw a boy
But I can recall
Seeing a decoy
This morning I swear
It was all the same
But he picked that bag up
And now life's just a game

* Dedicated to my cousin who had a career but turned to drugs instead
