Your Precious Gifts

by Letty   Aug 9, 2007

Blessed I have been,
With many of your precious gifts,
Even though I didn't deserve them.

Still you've showered me many times,
especially in the time of my greatest need,
Showing me that you're still there.

I've excepted each and everyone of your gifts.
Rather they were small, medium, or large,
And I know there were times when I weren't careful.

But you opened up my eye's wide,
Each and everyone of those foolish times,
And carried me across those barriers.

I'm not worthy Heavenly Farther.
Not for any of those gifts that you bestowed upon me.
But you still let them fall from above.

You've also blessed me with the biggest gift you have,
Your perfect Love.

I certainly agree with love being the best gift from God. The best should always be saved for the end of the poem, and you certainly save mention of the best gift for the end of this poem you wrote.

Life in general is another big gift from God.
