Painful Memories

by sharath sharathi   Aug 9, 2007

My life is like the dusky shore,
Waves of nature bang my door.
Soft canopy of foamy waves,
Wash my smilingly sad face.

Waves of painful memories fall in final cascade,
Soft smiling thoughts fail to fade.
My life is like the nascent clouds that pass by,
Unable to shape a smile, I sit aback and cry.

Weeping tears trickle and wet the sea,
As I trod along the shore I discover and find,
Each tumbling wave that pours onto me.
Are the same tears that once soothed my mind?
